Song of Ascent

Douay-Rheims Bible
Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps. -- Psalm 84:5

In the New International Version of the Bible it translates that last phrase as "whose hearts are set on pilgrimage".  Who have a destination in mind, and are determined to train so as to attain it.

    This is a beautiful photo and object lesson. Our college choir sang a piece with that Psalm that gives me goosebumps just thinking about it now, MANY years later! I love that it says of these pilgrims, "They go from strength to strength." I think of it as from His strength to our strength.
